Latex is the whitish fluid that is collected from the rubber tree to make foam, rubber and latex. The rubber sap once collected from the tree is used to make mattresses and many other things. In the case of the latex mattress, you will find that there are two major styles of turning the rubber into the mattress we see in our shop. Latex mattresses are the new equivalent to memory foam mattresses however they are non heat responsive and therefore should keep keep cooler throughout the night.
is a common name for visco elastic foam. It has a fascinating history: it was initially developed by NASA for the space programme to help shield astronauts from high G forces. It is now used for bedding materials such as mattresses, pillows and mattress pads. Memory Foam moulds itself to the contours of your body, giving a uniform level of support. It is a good compromise between the comfort of a soft mattress and the support of a hard mattress.
Continuous coils Or Mira-coils, work by a hinging effect, similar to that of offset coils. In a basic sense a continuous coil is simply that, one continuous coil in an up and down fashion forming one row (usually from head to toe) of what appear to be individual coils. The advantages of how firm a support the continuous coil provides it is somewhat tempered overtime with the "noise" associated from a typical Mira-coil unit.

The quilt has micro fibres which help circulate air
This is stretched to further the porrous properties and better regulate temperature
Hand tufting consists of several fibres woven through the fillings and felt tufts on the surface of the mattress
This is distinguishable by the felted tufts atop the mattress
Tufted gives the mattress a more traditional appearance and feel
Features
A hypoallergenic mattress is a specially designed mattress which is supposed to prevent allergies. Usually a hypoallergenic mattress is tightly sealed to prevent dead skin and body oils from penetrating the mattress and attracting dust mites, along with other microscopic organisms that can cause allergic reactions. A less costly alternative to a hypoallergenic mattress is a mattress wrap, which seals the mattress in a layer of protective material.
