Featuring Sealy's tried and tested zero deflection spring system, used in a large amount of their matresses, it distributes weight away from the main pressure points of the body.
With a micro quilted finish and a luxurious damask cover, the top of the mattress has a sumptuous feel to it. This mattress is a medium tension, suitable for the vast majority of people. (Although it is avilable in a tufted, firm feel also).
There is a heavy gauge rod running around the edge of the mattress to re-inforce it, to reduce the risk of it sagging. Sealy have certainly filled a gap in the market here with their Essentials range; despite an entry level price, the product is anything but entry level!
