The Essentials Support Firm can be considered a real bargain, far superior to any other mattress in it's price range from any manufacturer. Featuring Sealy's tried and tested zero deflection spring system, used in a large amount of their mattresses, it distributes weight away from the main pressure points of the body.
A hand tufted finish helps give the mattress a firmer, orthopeadic feel. It is also upholstered in high quality Belgian damask, widely used in top-of-the-range mattresses. This mattress is a firm tension, suitable for people who suffer from back problems. (Although it is available in a gentler feel also). There is a heavy gauge rod running around the edge of the mattress to re-inforce it, to reduce the risk of it sagging. Sealy have certainly filled a gap in the market here with their Essentials range; despite an entry level price, the product is anything but entry level!
