Terms & Conditions
Browse through our catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. When you have made your selection, click on “checkout”, you will then be asked to provide details so that we can process the order.
Payment:
We accept all major credit or debit cards through Sage Pay (secure online payment method). Buyers from outside the UK please check first that we can post the item to your country.
Delivery:
Items in stock, ordered before 2:00pm, will be dispatched on the day of purchase. Once you have placed your order we will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date. If you are not in on the arranged delivery date and the delivery can not be made there may be a charge to re-deliver.
Orders for next day delivery will need to be placed by 14:00 (any exceptions will be clearly stated on the product page). Orders made after this time will be received the following working day. Orders made on a Friday will be delivered the following Monday (Saturday delivery is available - please call 01202 937986 to arrange this service). Orders made on a Saturday will be delivered on the following Tuesday. We will contact you first to make sure you are able to receive your purchase before we deliver your item. Please feel free to contact us to arrange your delivery once you have placed your order.
Bunk Beds: 2-14 days
Sofa Beds: 4 -6 Weeks
All beds and mattresses are delivered within 2 - 4 weeks unless stated otherwise.
You will be contacted a week before delivery to confirm a time and date to suit you.
Most UK mainland deliveries are sent by 24 hour postage/courier (excludes Sunday), this is not a guaranteed service. Although we endeavour to dispatch all in-stock goods on the day of purchase we cannot guarantee or be held responsible if an order fails to arrive on time as we are reliant on third parties for delivery. If extra charges have been made for special delivery these will be refunded where terms are not met.
Please do not reject goods because of box damage as the goods inside may well be undamaged. If the packaging is damaged please mark 'packaging damaged' next to your signature. If after inspection you find the goods are damaged please contact us and we will arrange to swap them over. If rejected goods arrive back to us in undamaged condition a return postage charge may be incurred.
Packaging:
At Bed Centre UK, we want you to receive your purchase in the same great condition it left us. We use only good quality materials for packaging and wherever possible we recycle packaging material. We too buy online and can assure you no one takes better care of your purchases.
Returns/Refunds:
If you are not happy with your purchase and wish to return it, please notify us by letter or email within 7 working days after receipt of your item. Returned items (that are not faulty or damaged in transit) must be in unused 'as new' condition. We shall not be liable for postage costs on unwanted (non-faulty returns). Any claims for damage or shortage which are not signed as damaged or notified within this time shall not be accepted by the Company. If non-faulty returns are not in as-new condition they will be returned back to the customers after the customer has paid for the return postage cost. Return it to us at the address on the website by a recorded means (not special delivery-expensive!). We will refund all postage costs if an item arrives damaged due to our negligence, faulty or we have sent the wrong item. We will not refund any postage costs for any other circumstances. Items lost or damaged in the post are insured, we will refund/replace and we will claim from the relevant postal services should this be necessary. We will not accept an item is lost in the post until 10 working days have elapsed from the day after postage (UK only) (please note Royal Mail say 15 working days). Incorrectly addressed or insufficiently addressed items (where the customer has entered the delivery address) that go missing in the post, or are returned to us, will not be compensated for. Where free delivery is given, returns may incur a delivery charge (this includes the return of part of an order-where we have to test the items) and this will be deducted from any refund. Refunds are made within 7 working days.
Cancellation of orders prior to delivery may be be subject to a £25 admin fee due to certain products being ordered in especially.
Delivery Delays
Whilst the Company undertakes that every effort will be made to ensure that goods are delivered promptly, no liability will be accepted for delay in dispatch or delivery of goods.
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
All failed deliveries due to the customer not being in on the day of delivery or if incorrect delivery information is given may be subject to a minimum £25 re-delivery charge.
These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Recycling Information:
We can recycle your old bed or mattress when purchasing most of our product. Your local council will also collect your bed or mattress for a small fee. For more information on recycling please contact us or your local council.
Prices:
All prices in this site are subject to change without prior notice and are Including VAT. We have the right to cancel any order if the price displayed on the site is incorrect.
Email Response:
Response time for all emails received is no more than one working day and in most cases a response will be made on the same day.
Headboards:
Headboards are not included with any divan bed set unless clearly stated otherwise.
